Auntie Linda Foundation (ALF) is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) established in the year 2020 to provide help for the vulnerable and the less privileged across the globe. Under this Foundation are two initiatives namely: Auntie Linda HIV/AIDS Awareness and Women Empowerment.
VISION
To be the topmost NGO across the globe responsible for HIV/AIDS sensitization and its related issues as well as to promote, support, and develop entrepreneurial skills.
MISSION
To maintain a topmost NGO hallmark and to form partnerships to facilitate quality service delivery.
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
In 1988, World Health Organization (WHO) has set aside 1st December, to celebrate World AIDS Day to create Awareness on HIV/AIDS pandemic. This celebration is Worldwide and Auntie Linda HIV Awareness an Initiative under Auntie Linda Foundation is obliged to join in the celebration.
It can be recalled in recent times that, Ghana has recorded a high rate of HIV new infections and this has caused for vigorous sensitization programmes to curb the situation.
Given this, Auntie Linda HIV Awareness is organizing a sensitization programme throughout December to get the masses tested and link the positive ones to care.
Organize sensitization and Testing on HIV for communities, Churches, Schools, Co-operate bodies, Societies, Market men and women and the general public.
We encourage HIV/AIDS positive person who on the Anti-Retroviral Drugs (ARVs) to live a healthy lifestyle
Ward off all misconceptions concerning the Anti-Retroviral Drugs (ARVs) and the Stigma attached.
Sensitize the Public on the importance of the use of Condoms for prevention of HIV/AIDS and other Sexually Transmitted Infections.
(f) Educate HIV/AIDS Pregnant Women on Anti-Retroviral Drugs (ARVs) on the need to continue to take the drugs to ensure their children are not infected with the virus (Having HIV negative babies).
