Ms Linda Ewoenam Donkor journey of being a renowned Humanitarian began when she was employed and trained as HIV Data Manager and Counselor by National AIDs Control Programme, Ghana in 2006.
Through the years of training and hands-on experience, she has developed a deep passion for HIV-related work, leading her to become an Advocate, Humanitarian, and CEO of the Auntie Linda Foundation (ALF). Under the umbrella of the Auntie Linda Foundation, she initiated the Auntie Linda HIV/AIDS Awareness and Women Empowerment program.
She also has a soft heart for Children, teenagers, Adolescents, and Aged in Society. Thanks to her relentless efforts in community education and engagement through social media, she received global recognition from Humanitarian Awards Global in 2022 and was honored with the title of Outstanding HIV/AIDS Advocate of the Year (HAG 22). Additionally, she received accolades from the Ghana Outstanding Women Awards (GOWA) as Woman Advocate and the Ghana Youth Excellence Awards.
She was Awarded by Ladies in Leadership Awards organized by Accra Business School with Leadership in Healthcare Award in November 2023.
She has also been Awarded by Ghana Leadership Awards with ‘Ghana Order of Merit’ for her selflessness and Dedication to Humanity.
Auntie Linda is a Database Administrator, she has also obtained a Certificate in Leadership and Management in Health from Washington University. She has been trained in HIV management, HIV Self-testing, and Stigma and discrimination in HIV.
In conclusion, Auntie Linda is very affable, lovely, dedicated, hardworking, selfless, devoted and passionate person.
